Abstract

Service activities in the community in the form of socialization awareness of healthy living and advocacy make creative products using domestic waste aims to provide skills to the public regarding the management of household waste into environmentally damaging waste and can be used to make a variety of creative products of high value. Besides these activities also aim to provide an understanding and knowledge of the importance of raising the awareness of health and living a healthy lifestyle, create and encourage people to adopt healthy life. The target audience for the activities of PKK PPM is Mayasopa villages totaling 26 people. Socialization and mentoring are done by lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and exercises with frequently asked questions. The availability of sufficient expertise in mentoring and socialization creative product making healthy lifestyle, the enthusiasm of the participants, the support of the Village, RT, and RW to the implementation and support of STKIP Singkawang fund is supporting the implementation of this PPM activities. The constraints faced by the participants are yet to have prior knowledge about the making of the product and determine the implementation schedule of activities because trainees have busy each of them work in the fields, gardens and more. The benefits can be obtained by the participants of this PPM among others, can .memahamipentingnya health and a healthy lifestyle at the same time adopting a healthy lifestyle. Moreover, this activity provides awareness on the PKK in the Village Mayasopa how to take advantage of used goods into a product that can improve the economics of the family.

Abstract

Free Tutoring Program conducted by lecturers collaborate with students STKIP Singkawang seeing their children's needs will be additional learning after school. Tutoring helps students in doing homework on a given subject in school and help the students' understanding of the lessons they do not understand at school. In addition to assisting students in understanding cognitive activities, tutors also inculcate moral values are good to the students as a way to talk, behave towards older people and others. Tutoring also helps faculty to see the education of elementary school children in pajintan and tutors teach students to develop their abilities in front of the children as their stock later after becoming a teacher. Tutoring activity is carried out twice a week is Saturday and Sunday at 15: 00-16: 030. Kids will get together and tutor will ask them what they learned today. Then divide each tutor will be in accordance with the appropriate number of students and subjects what they want to learn. The number of students in the activities is 26 students tutoring kids who follow learning have willingness to learn. Results are expected after tutoring activities are the students who are expected to gain new knowledge or mastery of a better school after attending tutoring

Abstract

Training and mentoring program aims to facilitate the community in Pangmilang Village Singkawang especially for mothers of households to take advantage of the patchwork that often is not considered useful to be harnessed into a doormat. The patchwork can be collected from the local tailor was in the village Pangmilang, so it has the potential to be used as an extra income by making doormats. The resulting mat has three different types and models of doormats, i.e. the model's braids, mats models and model leaves. In the implementation of training and mentoring still-based household industries with capital and limited production, the production process is still very simple. The program is realized through the method of STM (socialization, training, and mentoring), namely through the practice directly in the field. Results obtained from the training and mentoring programs are the housewives are already skilled in making doormats made from patchwork foot and it can market products produced in the region around the Village Pangmilang.

Abstract

KKN PPM program objective is to provide insight to junior high school students about drugs and its effects. The program is carried out in SMPN 8 Singkawang through socialization and counseling. There are three things to be done to optimize this service activity. Sosialiszation iwill be given in order to provide information about various drugs and counseling to avoid drugs in order to avoid the impact of which is not good.

Abstract

Teachers have a very important role in determining the quantity and quality of teaching in improving the quality of national education. The efforts to improving the quality process and learning outcomes are part of efforts to improve the quality of education through the evaluation system. Therefore, the teachers’ ability in planning evaluation is absolutely necessary. SD Negeri 20 Mambok is one of the primary schools that is located in Sintang which has been established since 1981. They followed training and course for self-development for learning evaluation infrequently. Based on those reasons, the author chooses the theme of this activity or PKM with SD Negeri 20 Mambok as a partner. The method used is course and Training. Implementation of this PKM is a day. The result of the activity or PKM shows that there is interest from the participant in following the activity which is shown by the number of participants exceeding the planned target and the improvement of the participant's understanding and skill in designing and analyzing the evaluation instrument of learning in the good category. The improvement in participants' understanding and skills can be seen in showing in practicum and do the task during the event.
